3D Maps, past and present

An interesting distinctive feature the 3d Maps platform of Telecom Design  is the ability to compare the 360-degree photographs with three-dimensional reconstructions of the same area. This technological solution is applicable both to the past, for example, to present the appearance of ancient archaeological sites, and for the future, to visit real estate complexes under construction or urban renewal. In Visual Lombardy was rebuilt the entire area of the Roman Forum of Brescia, and superimposed photographic surveys of the archaeological site today.

The result is of great interest, especially for the sector of cultural, since it allows to pass at each point from the present to the past, and to compare the remains current with the reconstructive hypotheses.

A similar solution has been implemented on mobile devices. The archaeological site of ancient Rome is in fact available in the way past and present in a multimedia guide for iPhone.
